Ushering Eddie Bauer from an era of wrinkle-resistant gabardine pleated trousers to one of rugged twills, washed flannels, and sturdy knitwear meant rediscovering what it meant to be the Original Outdoor Outfitter, to be a guide and innovator, but still be modern and fresh. The results were a new design language including developing logo and brand elements, catalog and e-commerce, seasonal campaigns, collateral (shopping bags, apparel labels, signage), and editorial/PR (microsites, photoshoots, lookbooks, Milk Studio showrooms).

WINTER
In conjunction with an editorial presentation at Milk NYC, product shot against gray background with the Eddie Bauer context of incorporating Pacific Northwest propping elements. A custom parallax mircrosite enhances the effect, supported by the printed accordion-fold lookbook. Shot by Philip Newton.
SPRING
Captured within the vibrancy of a a lush forest, the screw-jointed lookbook referenced the technical elements of the season’s product while the yellow pop of graphic was crafted in recognition of the product palette within. Shot on location in Wallace Falls, Wa. by Jeff Lipske.
FALL
Shot against heavy canvas, the accordion-fold lookbook is placed into a craft envelope and wrapped in the same wax paper and twine as found at Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market. Shot by Philip Newton.
